I teach IB History and usually work with students who know the content but struggle to turn it into a clear argument. Lessons focus on Paper 1 source analysis, essay planning and using evidence without retelling the whole topic. I’m strongest on authoritarian states and 20th-century wars, especially causes and consequences. I also help students narrow IA questions so the investigation stays manageable.

I’m an IB History tutor with six years of one-to-one teaching experience. Most of my students need help with Paper 2 essays, especially comparison and judgement. A typical lesson starts with a weak topic, then we turn it into a timed plan or paragraph and check whether it actually answers the question. I spend a lot of time on evaluation because students often know plenty but do not judge significance clearly. My main areas are authoritarian leaders, war, diplomacy and Paper 2 technique.
